Welcome to Naniwa Sushi. I am Tadao Obayashi, the second generation owner of the restaurant.

Established in Hakata Sumiyoshi district since October 1970, the restaurant passed to me in 1999. With more than 35-year history, we not only select the best daily ingredients from local markets and the experienced fishermen who have rich knowledge in seafood, but also the fishing ports near the central Kanezaki.

We aim to provide authentic Japanese cuisine for our customers by using the best and natural ingredients. With your appreciate of our selection of food, we always hope to offer you a pleasant dining experience, sincerely looking forward to your next visit.

Our restaurant provides the freshest fish purchased from local markets, the Kanezaki fishing ports as well as other nearby sea. We aim to present all of you the Hakatamae Sushi by making good use of the ingredients. Not only sushi, we also prepare seasonal and à-la-carte dishes with variety of choices for you.
